What is CBD Isolate?

CBD isolate occurs when CBD is isolated (hence the name) from all other compounds. The resulting crystals or powder are the purest form of CBD, as all other cannabinoids have been removed. What is Full-Spectrum CBD?

It’s easiest to think of full-spectrum CBD as the polar opposite of CBD isolate. While CBD isolate contains only CBD, full-spectrum CBD contains all of the naturally-occurring cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. However, this doesn’t mean that consuming full-spectrum CBD is the same as consuming cannabis. Full-spectrum CBD keeps all of the natural cannabinoids (including THC), though these compounds only appear in trace amounts. Thus, full-spectrum CBD is still mostly composed of CBD.

What is Broad-Spectrum CBD?

Broad-spectrum CBD is very similar to full-spectrum CBD, except for one important thing: it contains zero THC. While full-spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and active compounds of the cannabis plant in trace amounts, broad-spectrum CBD has these same elements — minus the THC. Therefore, broad-spectrum CBD provides all of the same health benefits as full-spectrum CBD, but it does not contain any trace of THC.
